Breathing Gas
For users of compressed breathing air supply for, air respirators, suits, self-contained breathing apparatus’ (SCBA), ambient air systems and other applications where compressed breathing air purity is of concern. Compliance sampling typically required every 6 months under standard CSA Z180.1
Diving
For users of SCUBA, deep diving or surface supply, or one-atmosphere diving systems, in recreational and occupational diving operations. Sample collection and analysis required every 6 months per CSA Z275.2
Hyperbaric
Applicable to Hyperbaric Chambers whose primary function is for the subjection of humans to pressure environments exceeding 1 atmosphere absolute such as those required in diving operations, work under compressed-air conditions, medical treatment and research
Manufacturing
Production facilities using compressed air in the manufacturing process. Prevent product contamination; adhere to certification and equipment requirements. Regular assessment of compressed air systems can prevent potential costly production down time.
Medical Gases
Applies to all facilities providing health care services, in both public and private sectors, which utilize pipelines for medical gases, medical vacuums, medical support gases and anaesthetic gas scavenging systems. Testing requirements as specified by CSA Z7396.1
